Varsity Bass Fishing · Indian Anglers Qualify for State!

The Vidalia High School Bass Fishing Team qualified for the State Tournament on Saturday, placing 14th at the GHSA Lake Oconee Qualifier. Noah Cummings and Luke Lariscey combined to catch a total of four fish weighing in at 10lbs 2oz, which easily placed them in the Top 18 qualifiers for the event, which saw 133 teams compete.

“We had Great weekend on Lake Oconee,” said Coach David McCloud. “After fishing Friday the boys found a few locations that they thought would hold fish during the tournament to qualify for the State Tournament in May. I want to thank Ricky Cummings for being a boat captain and allowing the team to use his boat,” added McCloud.
